Paid
Time Off
Regular full-time employees
with less than three years of service are eligible to accure
20 PTO days per year. The amount of PTO that can be earned
by an employee increases over time, up to 30 days.

Educational
Assistance (Tuition Reimbursement)
All regular full-time employees
who are completing job-related courses towards a degree at
an accredited institution are eligible to take advantage of
the educational assistance program. Employees can reimbursed
for up to two classes per semester with a maximum benefit
of $5,000 per calendar year. The reimbursement amount is based
on grade achievement level in the course.
Medical
Insurance
ICON Central Laboratories offers
two plans through Oxford Health Plans. No referrals are needed
and network physician visits are 100 % covered after co-pays.
The coverage also includes prescription drugs and mail away
programs in addition to gym reimbursement incentives.
Dental
Insurance
We offer two plans with Delta
Dental. They are called the Standard and Economy plans. Both
offer generous calendar year maximums, one annual deductible
for each covered person (with a maximum of three deductibles
per family) and no deductible for preventative services. In
addition, the Standard plan offers orthodontia coverage for
dependants under 19.
Vision
coverage
Through VSP – Our vision
plan covers eye exams, lenses, frames, and contact lenses
in full when visiting a VSP network doctor. In addition, this
plan also offers extra discounts and savings on laser vision
correction.
Life
Insurance
With no cost to the employee
ICON Central Laboratories provides all full-time employees
with life insurance that equals two times their annual salary
with the maximum benefit being $200,000.
Business
and Travel Insurance
ICON Central Laboratories also
offers business and travel accident coverage at no cost to
the employee. All business travel is covered and the maximum
benefit is determined by the employee’s annual earnings.
Short
and Long Term Disability
ICON Central Laboratories provides
an enriched short-term disability plan, which replaces up
to 60% of an employee’s gross weekly earnings, less
income the employee may receive from other sources. The plan
pays benefits to employees if unable to work after a 7-day
waiting period. In addition, long-term disability is available
if the disability continues beyond the 180 days.
Flexible
Spending Accounts
Offered through Aflac, ICON
Central Laboratories allows employees to set aside pre-tax
earnings each pay cycle to be used for eligible out-of-pocket
medical expenses, such as co-pays and some over-the-counter
medications, or dependent day care.
Specified
Disease Plan (Cancer Plan)
This plan, also offered through
Aflac, is designed to provide supplemental income in the event
that the covered employee or a family member is diagnosed
with cancer. This plan covers expenses that reach beyond the
medical expenses incurred upon the diagnosis of cancer.
401(k)
Retirement Plan
Employees are eligible the first
of the month after 30 days of service to participate in ICON’s
401(k) plan. Employees may contribute 1 to 75% of their annual
salary up to $15,000 per year.

Assistance Program
ICON Central Laboratories contracts
with the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) which allows employees
and members of their household access to counseling benefits
(family issues, substance abuse, depression, etc.), work/life
assistance (debt problems, stress, legal issues, etc.), information
resources and lifestyle benefits (weight loss, smoking cessation
programs, etc.).
529-College
Savings Plan
Created under Section 529 of
the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) and sponsored by individual
states, 529 savings plans are tax-advantaged education savings
vehicles. The plan offers multiple investment approaches,
favorable estate tax treatment and account owner control over
assets.
